Just Thinking...

So I wasn't planning on blogging tonight but I saw a few posts on Facebook tonight sparked my blogging nerve.

I came across this article, 10 Struggles of Not Being Fat But Not Skinny Either.  I mean how true is this?  (Excuse some of the language in the article.)  But I mean really being a female just sucks sometimes and this is usually the number one reason why!  I mean I have my moments where I look in the mirror and am like wow I look skinny today but that happens usually 1% of the time.  This article just nailed it on the head.  I am that girl that posts sometimes online when I am at the gym but it makes me feel good about myself.  If I posted every time I went to Barry's Bootcamp people would think wow she should be really fit because no lie I go 4 to 5 times a week.  I am that girl that cannot say no to French Fries.  They are evil and amazing all at the same time.

After a weekend eating amazing but not so healthy food, we went to a pool party on Monday for Memorial Day.  I felt like Flabby McFlabberson the whole time, then I saw a photo from the party of myself in a swimsuit and literally started crying.  WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?  I AM NOT FAT!

I do realize that my diet is not the best but it is not awful.  My workouts are AMAZING.  I can run a 6:20 mile but still don't love the way I look in a swimsuit.  I mean there is an issue there and that issue is FOOD.  I haven't had chocolate since Monday which is most certainly progress.  I am just trying to eat healthy!  I am not doing some crazy cleanse or crash diet, just eating healthy and making smart choices.
So here is to me trying to eat healthy and to quit being so hard on myself.  Comparing my stomach to the Pinterest Fitness Models is just stupid!

I started Tuesday morning with an Spinach Tomato Egg Scramble.

3 eggs
1 Handful of Spinach
4 Cherry Tomatoes
Turkey Sausage Crumbles

Mix ingredients together in a bowl and poor into a preheated pan.  Make sure to use a nonstick pan.  I usually cook this on medium heat.  I cook the eggs until they are nice and fluffy.

This is really good and totally fills me up.

In honor of Maya Angelou I leave you with my all time favorite quote.

Always be nice.  You never know what someone else may be going through.
